Who are we?

We’re a small team based in Nosara, made up of chefs, bartenders, and service staff who genuinely love the craft. When you invite us in, you get people who pay attention, show up prepared, and keep the service running smoothly so you can focus on your guests. We shape the food and the flow around the group, the atmosphere you want, and the kind of moment you’re hoping to create. Whether it’s a quiet dinner, a retreat, or a celebration, we’re here to give you and your guests an experience that feels relaxed, well-executed, and genuinely enjoyable.

Our mission is to create food and experiences that bring people together, to slow down, connect, and celebrate the moment. To work in a way that creates a positive impact: supporting local farmers and artisans, choosing ingredients with care, and cooking with intention. Through honest food and warm hospitality, we hope every table we serve leaves people feeling nourished, joyful, and more connected to themselves, to each other, and to the land that feeds us

A Word From The Founder

Hey, I’m Chef Casper, and I just want to say a big thank you for being here.

For the past decade, food has been my way of exploring the world, learning, growing, and connecting with people. Cooking has taken me across countries and kitchens, pushed me, inspired me, and given me a place to express myself honestly.

Alegría Dining grew out of that journey. It’s everything I love about cooking, creativity, curiosity, good ingredients, and respect for the people and places behind them. Most of all, it’s about the joy of bringing people together around a table. A shared meal slows us down, opens us up, and creates those meaningful moments.

More than a business, Alegría has become a huge part of my life. It’s where I share flavours that excite me, celebrate the land and community that feed us, and cook with intention alongside a team I’m proud of. At its core, Alegría is about connection between people, cultures, stories, and the land and I’m grateful you’re here, sharing this one with us.
